MetsBlog Q&A: Robert Carson talks new delivery, pitching in big leagues

Robert Brender: Wally Backman told me you made some changes to your delivery. What were those changes?

Robert Carson: Just trying to get the long hitch out of my arm and get my arm up faster, also a quicker leg kick that is not as high. And keep everything in the its same rhythm. Now I’ve got a new breaking ball that I’m working on now, so I’m excited for it.

Robert Brender: Do you throw to hitters different in Triple-A than you do in the big leagues?

Robert Carson: Here you have a little more pressure. You put more pressure on yourself…

Robert Brender: The motivation to stay here has got to be great?

Robert Carson: Oh yeah, it’s awesome. This is a great group of guys, great clubhouse, it’s just great to be here with these guys, get experience at this level, keep learning from these older guys. It’s awesome.
