Mets Plus presented by Citi tomorrow

Following a successful debut telecast in June, “Mets Plus” returns tomorrow as the Mets take on the Braves @ 7 p.m. in a special Mets Plus presented by Citi broadcast with limited commercial interruptions, expanded in-game coverage and in-depth analysis, as well as specially designed segments.

Coverage begins @ 6 p.m.

From the last time, watch for the slew of in-game references to the sponsor, in this case, CitiCorp.

Yeah, they may have fewer between innings commercials, but the onslaught of Verizon references last time made it sound like the old Jack Benny Show on TV, where all of the commercials were woven right into the plot of that week's episode & handled as normal dialog by the characters...

serious question: do they do this because they have difficulty selling commercials? or is this equally/more profitable/none of the above?

@randyjaxn No matter how badly the team peforms, I HIGHLY doubt they have any trouble selling commercials. SOMEONE is willing to buy air time. I'm sure Citi is paying a lot for this.
