Rubin says the two sides agreed to a $2.925 million deal.

Murphy was seeking $3.4 million, and the Mets countered with a $2.55 million offer.

The Mets settled with Ike Davis and Bobby Parnell earlier this month, and so they will not go to arbitration with any of their arbitration eligible players this winter.
