People dont realize how popular Billy Joel is with younger generations, especially in New York

I'm assuming "My Cousin Vinnie" is the cheap knock-off of "My Cousin Vinny" that Mets fans bought from the dude at the subway station selling them off a towel?

My first thought: heck yeah, I love me some Billy Joel too!

My second thought: man, am I the only Mets fan younger than 50?

This certainly paints Mets fans as an older dying breed on the brink of extinction

I would agree - Wright over Jeter, Joel over Jay-Z, and My Cousin Vinnie over Step Brothers.

I must say that you cannot  compare the two movies.  I loved Step Brothers over My Cousin Vinny.

i dont know too many kids in the bronx who listen to Billy Joel..

Aside from 2005-2009, the mets have always catered to fans who live in Suffolk County than fans who live in Corona Queens.

@Victor Triguero You're reaching. Jay-z been around the music scene since '88, touring in his younger years with then rap headliner Big Daddy Kane. Just because Jay-z is still very active doesn't mean his fan base are only young people barely over twenty who adopted the Yankee winning culture instead of going through their tough years. His true demographic is probably 26-43. And I'm sure those fans have been loyal Yankees fans prior to Jay being the star he is today.
