Man charged with threatening the Mets gets probation
Aryn Leroux, who was arrested in October 2013 and accused of tweeting threats toward Mets executives, players and coaches, along with a specific threat to Citi Field, was sentenced to one year probation on a breach of peace charge.
Leroux was sentenced in Milford Superior Court on Thursday. He was originally charged with threatening in the second degree and breach of peace.
If he violates his parole, he can be sentenced to up to 90 days in jail, the Connecticut Office of Victim Services said.
