I will say this...as much as this team frustrates me...and how I can't stand our ownership...I miss my Mets and am so happy to see the PSL pics....cant wait till pre-season starts

Geez, look at Terry. Say what you want about the guy, not many people in their 60's look like that throwing a ball.

Wonder if Ruben is there. Since he has been pretty much guaranteed SS (without really proving he deserves it), he will probably arrive all late again like last season

I hope to see Wilmer Flores in shortstop shape from conditioning camp.  If he can be halfway competent at SS, his bat would be great to have.

@Victor Triguero  - frustrating what the wilpons have done to this team and it's fan base. Maybe the mets surprise and everything comes together in 2014 and they can at least be in the running for a wild card spot..stranger things have happened. Baseball is supposed to be fun but these last 5 or so years have been horrible (besides a few bright spots).

@ElVPresidente  guy has alot of energy and spunk, just needs better players, he's not a hall of fame manager but the blame for me goes to ownership more so than Terry.

@mike23 @Victor Triguero  absolutely...I would love to see this team matter in September instead of being irrelevant by July. I am not expecting World Series but geez....give us something at this point

@Andrew Vazzano @Victor Triguero  Yes, Tejada needs to get down there. This guy better get there guns blazing and ready to go. I am not asking for Troy Tulowitzki production but a solid glove, good OBP and BA. and I will change my tune on him. Right now I hate the fact he is our SS

@Thomas McKeever @Victor Triguero  he's a long shot but if he can at least make the routine plays his offense might be able to make up for the lack of highlight type plays...im curious why the mets now feel Flores should get work at SS, everyone seemed to hate his range at 2b so how is that going to even come close to working at SS..worth a shot though as his offense would be a nice addition to the lineup (over tejada)... still would rather the mets sign Drew for SS.

@Victor Triguero @mike23 @Andrew Vazzano  solid glove, good OBP and BA.... if tejada can do these three things plus add some stolen bases than he would be ok but right now I think he would be better as  a backup SS/2b (that is if the mets were a legit playoff team, at this point mets have limited options and I don't want to see Quintinilla starting either, both are more bench guys than full time starters.

@Victor Triguero @Andrew Vazzano  good thing your not asking for Tulowitzki production because you can add up three of tejada's best seasons (actually his whole career) and not come close to his numbers lol..... still would have liked to see a different SS maybe Flores somehow surprises and makes at least the routine plays at SS in spring and maybe he takes the job (doubtful based on his limited range though unless he has improved on that).

@mike23 @Thomas McKeever@Victor TrigueroI think people probably "over-hated" his abilities in the field.  I can only speculate, but if he is noticeably more agile from conditioning camp, he could be serviceable.  I too wanted them to sign Drew, but thats all but guaranteed not to happen at this point.  I think flroes is the best option at SS because it looks like tejada is just not into it and Flores' bat is enticing at SS.  Yeah the reason hes not at second is b/c murphy looks to be the guy for that spot which im totally ok with.
