Juan Lagares cuts

Lagares scratched with ribcage spasms

Center fielder Juan Lagares was scratched from Saturday’s game against the Phillies with ribcage spasms.

Chris Young was inserted into the lineup as a replacement and also led off.

Lagares aggravated the muscle during Friday’s game.

Collins probably paid the umpires to make that game go extra innings so Lagares would get hurt playing so long!!

This lineup the mets put out day after day is an embarrassment. These guys can't get a hit when it matters if their lives depended on it - include Wright in that group as well. Watching these last two games in Philly is maddening. And Daniel Murphy has now made 2 blunders in this game! What a joke!

Murphy trying to score on passed ball becomes big out. The PTBNL will not be known till end of month. It goes by when the player signed not the day he was drafted.

Hope he gets better fast. He's a great CF!

That might account for his slump, which is major.

@shinjoooo the Mets have played gazillion innings the past two days. Their next day off is June 9th.  All of the Mets will be on the ground by then.
