Justin Turner left Tuesday’s game after injuring his right hamstring rounding third base in the sixth inning.
Sept. 12, 10:04 am: Turner told reporters his MRI revealed a Grade 1 strain in his hamstring, and he doesn’t expect to miss much time.
Sept. 11, 5:48 pm: Turner had an MRI Wednesday that revealed a slight strain, which will force him to miss a few games, Terry Collins told reporters.
Sept. 11, 7:00 am: Turner told reporters after the game that he expects to get an MRI on Wednesday.
“I came in and the trainer said to shut it down,” he said, according to ESPN New York. “I’ve never had any hamstring problems before. Hopefully it’s not too bad and in a couple of days I’ll be able to get back out there.”
