According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, Jordany Valdespin strained his forearm and his stint in the AFL this fall could be over.

In the Arizona Fall League, Mets prospect Jordany Valdespin is hitting .355 with one home run and 11 RBI with three doubles, a triple, and seven stolen bases in 19 games, and has hit .386 against right handed hitters.
Valdespin, a middle infielder, appeared in the AFL Rising Stars game on Saturday, and went 1 for 2.
In a recent ten game hitting streak, the soon-to-be 23 year old Valdespin had six multi-hit games over that span.
He has struggled defensively, committing a team high six errors this fall.
He had a good season with Single-A St. Lucie, hitting .289 with six home runs and 33 RBI, stealing 13 of 23 bases. He struggled after being promoted to Double-A Binghamton, hitting just .232 with 23 strikeouts in 112 at bats.
