Jhonny Peralta said he would like to return to the Tigers next season, even if it means him playing left field.
“There’s a chance for sure, yeah, because I like the organization here,” he said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “Do I want to be here? Yeah, I want to be here.”
According to the report, the Tigers are unlikely to bring back Peralta because outfield prospect Nick Castellanos is expected to be on the club next season, and the Tigers acquired SS Jose Iglesias to fill the void left by Peralta when he was suspended mid-season for PEDs.
