Ike Davis named PCL Player of the Week

Ike Davis, demoted to the minor leagues earlier this month, was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week.

Davis hit .474 with a .630 OBP in six games last week, including four home runs and seven RBI.

In total, Davis is hitting .310 with a .463 OBP and .690 SLG at Triple-A Las Vegas over 12 games.

According to Las Vegas 51s Insider on Twitter, the correspondent for ProBaseballMagazine.com, he says Ike Davis will likely be recalled on Friday when the Mets welcome the Washington Nationals to Citi Field.
