Ike Davis gets second opinion, will be idle for 3-4 weeks

After a second opinion in Charlotte, NC, the Mets will ‘stick with plan for Ike Davis,’ according to a tweet by ESPN New York’s Adam Rubin.

Following tonight’s game, Terry Collins told reporters that Davis will continue to remain idle for 3-4 weeks, after which the team will make a decision if he needs surgery.
