Hate to be a wet blanket here but has anyone else noticed that Familia has been getting hit rather hard of late? And that Sunday loss was inexcusable.

FYI - I believe Mets have about the 10th or 11th worst record in baseball (similar to last season).  It doesn't feel as bad this year because we are only 7.5 games out of 2nd wild card (along with 20 other teams it seems).

This issue was talked about to death last season as Mets did not have to give up a 1st round pick to sign Granderson (thank goodness).  It's possible Mets will be in the same position this year.  Do Mets go all youth the rest of the way (Den Dekker, Lagares, Flores, Montero, Syndergaard, etc) even though we may lose more than win?

Fact of the day:  Juan Lagares is leading MLB center fielders in defensive runs saved, and is second among ALL MLB position players in DRS, behind only Jason Heyward(!).

Yes, he has more runs saved than Andrelton Simmons and Carlos Gomez.  And this is after missing a month or so on the DL.
