According to multiple reports, Carlos Beltran is scheduled to have MRI on his knee today.
Yesterday, according to MLB.com, Beltran told reporters he feels a sharp pain in his knee when he runs full speed, saying:
“I don’t feel I can play a lot of games the way it felt today. I’m a little bit worried, to be honest.”
Meanwhile, on Friday, Mets GM Omar Minaya told reporters Jose Reyes did some running before the game.
Yesterday, however, Reyes said he hasn’t run, nor as he fielded ground balls, adding, “I worry about running, that’s the key.”
…the perceived lack of communication between players, trainers and management is becoming quite alarming…
Instead, Reyes took swings in the batting cage, and said he did not feel any pain.

…as i said over the weekend, i believe the Mets are working jose back slowly, rehabbing the tendon, but surgery has not yet been taken off of the table… and, until it is, i’ll remain worried…
