Group led by Nolan Ryan looking to buy B-Mets & move to Ottawa in 2014?

According to the Ottawa Citizen, a group led by Nolan Ryan is interested in purchasing the Binghamton Mets and move them to Ottawa for the 2014 season.

However, according to the Binghamton Press and Sun, B-Mets President Michael Urda denied the team was for sale.

Earlier this year, the Ottawa Citizen reported the B-Mets would be bought and moved to Ottawa for the 2014 season, but Urda angrily denied that claim as well.

The Mets and B-Mets have been affiliated with each other since 1992. The two teams announced a new, four-year player development contract in August.
