Need to Know: The Phils socked three home runs, two of which came off Mets starter Dillon Gee. The big blow was Chase Utley’s seventh-inning grand slam off reliever Josh Edgin that gave the Phils a 6-0 advantage. Jimmy Rollins and Grady Sizemore each blasted solo homers, which was enough for Philadelphia starter, Cole Hamels.
Game Ball: Hamels, who tossed eight shutout innings and struck out eight while scattering six hits, picked up his sixth win of the season.
