After Mike Morse misplayed a Daniel Murphy fly ball for the Mets’ first hit of the game in the seventh, four of the next five batters reached base with the only out coming on a Travis d’Arnaud sacrifice fly. The Mets plated four in the inning before giving two back in the top of the eighth, but Jeurys Familia and Jenrry Mejia closed out the win.
