I have been having this conversation with fans a lot lately: asking them if they feel it is important for the team to finish the season strong. Most fans, I’m finding out, don’t care. They all seem to be counting down the days until this season ends… probably because this season has been so exhausting. And more importantly, we all want to know how the front office will go about improving the team… and finishing this year strong will not make that happen any sooner. The only thing that will impact our confidence for 2013 will be bringing in better players.
