What was going on between Kevin and Keith? I just saw the post game live and Keith seemed uncomfortable, even hostile, what's up? Did they seem relaxed with each other during the game?

Granderson looked like Granderson!

Hey, what happened to the whiners and boo-hooers?

They must be on the other blog complaining about the win today.

Zack Wheeler will end up being the greatest thing Carlos Beltran ever did for the Mets.

Granderson showing flashes of his home run power. He's going to be awesome for the Mets.

Travis d'Arnaud is also swinging well. It'll be great to see this continue on to the regular season.

None of the play by play guys were screaming and singing incoherently about the "grandy man" when he hit his dingers right?

Does anyone know if Branden Allen has a chance of making the team as a left-handed bat off the bench? It seems that if Ike claims the starting job, they don't want Duda on the team. Allen has produced in the minors but has yet to put it together in the bigs. Anyone have info on his chances?

That decision to put Goeddel on the 40 doesn't look so good right now...

The starters played well

Honestly, the only vibe I got was that Keith wants to have fun in the sun and is utterly bored having to cover spring training games.

@dreamer3kx  pretty sure Sandy is the GM. And you don't sign players just to sign players. You sign players that are a good fit. Drew for 2 or more years for $10 or more million is not a good fit. But I do say you go hard for him on a 1 year deal.

@MetsOregon  Its fans like these that Boo player like Beltran.  Beltran was a great player for us and one of the best players we ever had.

@MetsOregon  Beltran already was the best CFer the Mets have ever had, so yeah...

No. Stop downplaying Beltran's achievements. You do this every opportunity you get. Not a knock on Zach, but Carlos was possibly the best all around OF'er this team ever had

@Evan Climpson No real chance.  He's struggled with every cup of coffee he's had and has reached that career minor league level status.  He really has only put up decent minor league seasons in the PCL, which get thrown out and the fact he's 26 means he SHOULD be mashing minor league pitching.

Besides, we already have one AAAA player on the major league roster in Satin, no need to add his lefty clone.

Actually they beat a better team yesterday.

@niesesnose  He was the best all around CFer this team has ever had. No one else comes close. WIllie Mayes doesn't count.
