Eric Young Jr returns with no pain

Eric Young Jr. returned from the disabled list Monday and said his previously strained hamstring felt fine.

“I was able to sprint out a couple of things today and everything felt good on the leg,” said Young (ESPN, June 16). “Obviously being out for about three weeks there, I was just glad to see my name in there.”

He had an infield single in the second inning, made an incredible to throw out a runner trying to advance to second, and he struck out with the bases loaded in the fourth inning.

I was certain EY was going to pull something reaching for the bat he tossed when he wasn't walked.

This might be the quickest I've ever seen this team done.

He made an incredible? Which one? Elasti-girl?

Dear Metsblog -- whatever you do, please do NOT ever start proofreading your posts! It's too much fun!

Did they trade McHugh for him?  Another brilliant trade by Sandy as McHugh has success in Houston.

He looked like he was in pain when he thought that pitch was ball four.

Matt, more fine writing here..."He had an infield single in the second inning, made an incredible to throw out a runner trying to advance to second..."  Did you ever take a class in writing?  Your other post today is equally atrocious.

@Jova1931 Funny what constitutes incredible these days.  5 hopper from shallow left.

@Bob Giacalone It has nothing to do with quality of writing, and everything to do with complete and total laziness.

@Richard Alicea He is a useful player for the team if used properly, problem is TC can't use him properly.

Joe we have too many number 8 hitters in the line-up...EYJR coming back is irrelavent and does nothing for the team...so yes, CY is a bit more painful, but so is EYJR.
