Eric Young Jr measures his lead

Eric Young Jr. played 14 innings Sat., expected back Mon.

Eric Young Jr. played both 14 innings Saturday with Double-A Binghamton.

Terry Collins said Friday that Young (right hamstring) is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday in St. Louis.

Young started in left field for the first game of Binghamton’s double-header Saturday, than served as the DH in game two.

He went a combined 0-for-6 with a walk, stolen base, run scored and two strikeouts.

BOTH 14 innings?   Is that like Ernie Banks saying, "Let's play 28"??????????

0 for 6 - he's in mid-season form - time to bring him up.

Both 14 innings?  I thought 14 was more than 2...

He should be starting in LF everyday - when he gets on, he causes havoc and he does score runs. Although I would like to see Brown and Soup get an everyday shot as they should be starting for Grandy and Lagares while they are out.

He faced some really good pitching! (As Terry would say)
