lol, Choo k's alot too, 283 k's the last 2 years, but I agree I would love Choo, Obp machine.....You could be GM of the Mets and u still wouldn't get him, bc he wants 100mil+ and the Wilpons are not giving you that type of money for 1 player on this market

We arent getting Cano, Tulowitzki would be a nice addition but we arent getting him either. Grandy man for 3 yrs seems like a smart move, can get rid of Duda or Ike and get some more pieces to not have us in the cellar again next year

He wont hit 20 HRs at Citifield, and that's where his production matters. he's a career .261 hitter that doesn't deserve this much attention.

please stop with the Curtis Granderson. I DONT WANT HIM. He's an aging pure pull power lefty. If you are going to spend that much money on a player, he'd better be better than a career .261 hitter.

This is the Mets idea of spending the big bucks lol ;.look we need a piazza type player and I think that we should get cano, cano is that type of guy his numbers are off the chart good he's the best player at his position

I'm gonna tell ya Sean D Luddy, this guy will be less productive for you. I'm not saying he's not a good player, but Citifield is huge, and a lot of his dingers are gonna be outs or doubles and triples. He's a very good fielder, with good range and a plus arm, and he's like a coach in the clubhouse, but 35-40 hrs? No way. I will say that Wright will be glad to have him around as protection, but he needs to get his average way way up to really be effective at that.

The Mets need to make a splash. For at least 2 years, they've spent little money & although they've been competitive they've also been irrelevant. Four years is a little steep for a high-strikeout guy who's also a mediocre defender, but the Mets need power in their lineup & he has plenty of it. My answer would be yes.

yes.of course who else is going to hit homeruns for them now that Marlon Byrd is gone. get granderson and quit procrastinating about it or you won't get him.
