Bartolo Colon has tightness in his calf, Terry Collins told reporters on Wednesday.

Colon did not work out with the team on the field on Wednesday. Collins said Colon rode the bike, did work off the field and received treatment on his ankle.

Must have been chasing after an ice cream truck.

Conditioning is much more important in the NL. It is pretty likely that Colon will be hitting the DL for lower body issues at some point(s).

We don't need every "injury" presented in Spring Training. They're all so meaningless.

Pulled a muscle sprinting for the buffet table.  Anyone wanna guess the over/under on games pitched before something catastrophic happens. Remember when Chien Ming Wang hurt himself running the bases? He was never the same pitcher afterward.

The ailing burrito packed tight with meat, cheese, and s***!

There was virtually no way once signing with the Mets that Colon's mystifying success at his age and physical condition wasn't going to come crashing down in flames!

Some one told me I was wrong when I said 40yr old pitcher, Colon, will miss games this season. lol. 2 yrs of this band-aid.

@SNYtv you mean he is too overweight and his calfs can't hold him up anymore right?

I heard rumors on Twitter that the bike he rode was a tandem and he was accused of not pedaling

I didn't think there was anything on his body that was tight.

Really? A physical specimen in tip top shape like Colon?

If only the rest of him were tight perhaps his calf would be ok.
