Terry Collins said Collin McHugh will start on September 3 against the Cardinals, according to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York.

McHugh allowed just two hits with a walk and nine strikeouts in seven innings in his first big league start last Thursday – he is tonight’s scheduled starter for the Bisons against the Rochester Red Wings at Coca Cola Field in Buffalo.

McHugh is a combined 7-9 with a 2.88 ERA in 143 2/3 innings over 24 Minor League starts between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Buffalo this season.
