Cesar Puello away from Triple-A team for personal reasons

Mets Triple-A OF Cesar Puello is away from his team due to personal reasons, manager Wally Backman told MetsBlog’s Toby Hyde. He’s expected back in the lineup on Friday.

Puello has appeared in 26 games, just 94 plate appearances, and is hitting .236 with a .277 OBP. He has five extra base hits, three walks and has struck out 21 times.

He was suspended for 50 games in 2013 after being wrapped up in the Biogenesis scandal.

I don't understand how they are using him in AAA. Why has he not been playing everyday? Makes no sense to use him in a platoon
