Cesar Puello among new names linked to PEDs

Cesar Puello 1 polaroidAccording to ESPN.com, Mets outfield prospect Cesar Puello is among the new names on a list of players who received performance enhancing drugs from Anthony Bosch’s biogenesis clinic in Miami.

“Because of the ongoing investigation, we have no comment,” the Mets said in an e-mailed statement. “We refer all questions to Major League Baseball.”

Puello, who turns 22 in April, hit just .260 with a .328 OBP and .751 OPS, four home runs and 21 RBI for Single-A St. Lucie in 2012, missing much of the season due to injury – he is on the 40-man roster.
