Lennon: There is Definitely Interest in Beltran

The better play is to keep Beltran for the start of 2011.

The Mets will not get fair value for him now, because of his salary and knees.  He’s still a better option than most players the team could find to replace him.  Plus, if he shows he is healthy, Beltran will be VERY attractive to teams in a playoff race, assuming the Mets are willing to move him July.
