They better sign him b4 he gets a chance 2 be a UFA and its to late and we either have 2 overpay 4 him or lose him I hope gorton dont follow the same footsteps sather use 2 and get stuck having 2 do that

I want Kreider locked up more than I wanted Stepan by a longshot

@p-gill I love Kreider and the potential he still has, but Stepan is by far more valuable to the Rangers. Centers are hard to find and Stepan plays all aspects of the game. Stepan is a top PKer, plays on PP, plays the last 5 min down a goal, plays the last 5 min up a goal, participates in shoot outs and sets Kreider up. Kreider doesn't play PK, top PP or in the last 5 min when its crunch time and the Rangers are nursing a lead.

Don't get me wrong I want Kreider signed to a long-term deal and if he would take 6-yrs at $4M-4.5M next season I would do it, but wingers are much easier replaced in a lineup than top centers.

Guys like kreider r not easy 2 replace he might turn out 2 be the best power winger in the league real soon he just needs 2 get a little more mean and start 2 hit people more often his speed is 2nd 2 none and u cant replace that or teach it lets lock him up b4 he has a chance 2 get more $ from someone else!!
