TODAYS GAME. THE MICROPHONES WERE TERRABLE.COULD NOT HEAR  GARY OR Ron Darling, what happened to the producer AND THE TECHS IN THE TRUCK SHAME THOSE GUYS WORKED FOR THREE HOURS AND THE FANS DIDN,T HEAR ANY OF THE GAME.            MET  DIEHARD

To Steve Gelbs, do me a favor and ask Terry Collins why he allows Mejia to wear his hat the way he does, the bill off to one side, instead straight forward. It's not a mistake either..he intentionally does it that way. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! The Cub's pitcher does the same thing, Strop.

They look like idiots. And to me it's disrespectful to MLB!

And I know there are others that do the same thing!!

Hey,Steve congrats on the new job with sny.Steve, just nearly a year not even 2 years ago was a host and announcer for MSG varsity, covering mostly long Island high school sports and he was fantastic with MSG.I got to meet him a few times,he covered the high school football team in the town where I grew up and also went to highschool on their back to back champ seasons.

Hes a great guy, made a huge jump to sny but I feel its well deserved from what I know about him.

I hope this Steve Gelbs guys gets a bit more comfortable during the game.  He seems a lot more natural in this piece.  Usually he looks/sounds like a dork that is trying too hard to emulate Kevin B.

Fernando Rodney does the same thing and his reasoning was that it might confuse the hitter because they can't quite tell the angle of his head.
